Choosing and Fitting
Full nuts provide a conventional threaded fastening. Nyloc nuts incorporate a nylon insert that provides resistance to rotation on the mating thread.
Match the nut diameter and pitch to the bolt or stud. Start the nut by hand before tightening with a correctly fitting spanner or socket. When fitting Nyloc nuts, ensure the bolt passes fully through the nylon insert.
