Product Description
Metric brass dome nuts, also known as acorn nuts or cap nuts, manufactured from solid brass and commonly used to cover exposed metric threads while giving a neat decorative finish. These dome nuts are suitable for general fastening, restoration, furniture, hardware, engineering, model making and decorative applications.
The closed dome top helps protect the end of the thread and gives a finished appearance where a standard hex nut would leave the thread exposed. Solid brass provides a traditional appearance and good corrosion resistance for suitable indoor and light duty applications.
Available in metric thread sizes from M3 to M12, with pack sizes suitable for single repairs, workshop use and bulk stock. This product type is commonly listed to DIN 1587.
