5/16" Self-Colour Steel Manifold Studs with Brass Nuts
5/16" self-colour steel manifold studs supplied with matching brass nuts. Available with UNC, UNF or combination UNC/UNF threads for exhaust manifolds, inlet manifolds, classic vehicles, motorcycles and vintage machinery.
The combination studs have a 5/16" UNC coarse thread at one end and a 5/16" UNF fine thread at the other. Single-thread versions are also available with UNC or UNF threads at both ends.

Thread Standards
- 5/16"-18 UNC thread reference: ASME B1.1 and BS 1580-1:2007
- 5/16"-24 UNF thread reference: ASME B1.1 and BS 1580-1:2007
BS 2693-1:1956 is the current British Standard covering general-purpose imperial screwed studs with UNC and UNF threads. However, this manifold-specific range includes mixed UNC/UNF stud ends and is not stated as certified to BS 2693-1. The supplied dimensions and product options should therefore govern selection.

Installation Information
UNC and UNF threads have different pitches and must not be interchanged. Confirm the thread in the manifold or cylinder head and the required nut-end thread before selecting a stud.
Self-colour steel has no protective plated finish and may require suitable corrosion protection for the application. Follow the engine or equipment manufacturer's tightening procedure and torque recommendations.
