1 1/2 Inch Whitworth High Speed Steel Circular Dies
UK-made high speed steel circular dies for cutting new British Standard Whitworth external threads. Each die has a 1 1/2 inch outside diameter for use with a compatible die stock or holder.

Thread Standard
The BSW thread form, diameter and TPI combinations correspond to BS 84:2007 for parallel Whitworth screw threads.
Using the Die
Chamfer the end of the workpiece and apply suitable cutting lubricant. Start the die square to the bar and reverse it regularly to break and clear the swarf.
