Product Description
3-56 UNF A2 Stainless Steel Cup Point Socket Allen Key Grub Screws
These 3-56 UNF cup point grub screws are manufactured from A2 stainless steel and feature an internal hexagon socket for tightening with a 0.050" Allen key. Their headless design allows them to sit flush with or below the surface of a suitably threaded component.
The recessed cup point provides a circular contact edge that grips the mating surface when tightened. These screws are suitable for securing small collars, knobs, pulleys and other precision components. A2 stainless steel provides corrosion resistance for many general engineering applications.

Selecting Your Grub Screw
Select the required length and pack size from the available options. Grub screw length is measured over the full length of the screw, including the point.
Use with a matching 3-56 UNF tapped hole and a correctly fitting 0.050" imperial Allen key. Metric equivalents are for reference and do not indicate interchangeable threads or tools.
The cup point can mark the mating surface as it grips, so consider this when choosing a screw for finished shafts or components. Use care when tightening these small screws to avoid damaging the socket or mating thread.
