Product Description
UNC A2 Stainless Steel Serrated Flange Nuts
These UNC serrated flange nuts are manufactured from A2 stainless steel and feature an integral flange beneath the hexagon body. The flange spreads the clamping load over a wider area, while serrations on its underside grip the mating surface to help resist loosening.
Available in seven imperial coarse thread sizes, these nuts suit matching UNC bolts, screws and studs. A2 stainless steel provides corrosion resistance for many general engineering and maintenance applications.

Selecting Your Flange Nuts
Select the required thread size and pack quantity from the available options. Match both the diameter and threads per inch to your bolt or stud. UNC nuts are not interchangeable with UNF nuts of the same nominal diameter.
Allow sufficient clearance for the flange and tightening tool. Check the flange diameter against the available bearing surface on the component.
Fitting Guidance
Start the nut by hand to ensure correct thread engagement, then tighten with a correctly fitting spanner or socket to suit the joint specification.
The serrations work by contacting the mating surface and may mark paint, coatings or softer materials. Consider the surface finish when selecting this nut style.
