BSF Solid Brass Dome Cap Nuts
Solid brass dome cap nuts with British Standard Fine threads. The closed domed top covers the end of a matching bolt or stud, providing a neat finish and helping prevent exposed threads from catching on clothing or nearby items.
Also known as acorn nuts, these brass fasteners are suitable for restoration, repairs and decorative assemblies requiring BSF threads. The hexagonal base allows tightening with a suitable spanner or socket.

Fitting Advice
Use with a matching BSF bolt or stud. Check that the projecting thread fits within the closed dome so the nut can clamp the assembly before the bolt end bottoms out. Start by hand and tighten with a correctly fitting spanner or socket, taking care not to overtighten the brass nut.
