Product Description
A2 Stainless Steel Pin Torx Button Head Self Tapping Security Screws
These A2 stainless steel self tapping screws feature a rounded button head and a six-lobe pin Torx security recess. The central pin prevents engagement with a standard solid Torx bit, helping to deter unauthorised removal.
Suitable for panels, covers, enclosures and general assembly work where a tamper-resistant fixing is required. The self tapping thread forms a mating thread in a correctly sized pilot hole in a suitable material.
A free matching security driver bit is included with every diameter ordered.

Fitting Information
Prepare a pilot hole appropriate to the screw diameter, material and material thickness. These screws form their own thread but do not drill their own hole.
Use the matching security driver bit, keeping it square to the head and fully engaged. Drive steadily and avoid overtightening, which can damage the recess or strip the thread in the receiving material.
