Product Description
Left Hand Thread A2 Stainless Steel Threaded Bar – 1 Metre Length
Metric left hand threaded bar manufactured from A2 stainless steel and supplied in individual 1 metre lengths. This fully threaded rod features metric coarse threads and tightens anticlockwise when used with matching left hand threaded components.
Also known as left hand studding or allthread, the bar is suitable for making studs, adjustment mechanisms and replacement threaded components where a left hand thread is required. A2 stainless steel provides corrosion resistance for general-purpose applications.

- Adjustment and tensioning mechanisms designed for left hand threads.
- Replacing existing left hand threaded components.
- Machinery maintenance and general engineering repairs.
Fitting Information
Use only with matching left hand nuts or tapped holes of the same diameter and pitch. Standard right hand nuts will not fit. Start the mating component carefully by hand and turn anticlockwise to tighten.
The bar can be cut to the required length. After cutting, deburr the end and check that a matching left hand nut runs freely onto the thread.
When assembling stainless steel threaded components, a suitable anti-seize lubricant can help reduce galling. Tighten carefully and account for lubrication when determining the appropriate tightening torque.
