Product Description
M12 Grade 8.8 Yellow Zinc Plated Steel Hexagon Head Bolts With Shank – DIN 931
M12 hexagon head bolts manufactured to DIN 931 from Grade 8.8 high tensile steel with a yellow zinc plated finish. These part-threaded bolts feature a plain shank beneath the head and an M12 × 1.75 metric coarse thread.
The hexagon head accepts a 19mm spanner or socket. Available in lengths from 45mm to 150mm for machinery, maintenance and general engineering assemblies requiring a bolt with an unthreaded shank.

Typical Applications
- Machinery and equipment assembly.
- Securing brackets and mechanical components.
- Maintenance and replacement of matching M12 bolts.
- Joints requiring an unthreaded shank through the clamped components.
Fitting Information
Use with matching M12 × 1.75 nuts or tapped holes. Select compatible nuts and washers of a suitable strength for the assembly.
Check that the bolt provides sufficient thread engagement and that the plain shank does not prevent the joint from tightening fully. Use a 19mm spanner or socket and follow the tightening requirements for the application.
