Fitting and Measuring
Measure screw length from underneath the pan head to the tip. The head sits above the fixing surface.
Self tapping screws form their mating thread in a suitable pilot hole. Select the pilot hole for the screw diameter, material and thickness, and use the correct Pozi bit to avoid damaging the recess.
