Nut Types
Full nuts provide a conventional threaded fastening. Nyloc nuts incorporate a nylon insert that grips the mating thread to resist loosening.

Fitting
Match the UNC diameter and thread count to the bolt or screw. Start the nut by hand before tightening with a correctly fitting imperial spanner or socket.
