Product Description
Metric Class 8 Non-Serrated Flange Nuts – Zinc Plated Steel DIN 6923
These metric non-serrated flange nuts are manufactured from class 8 high tensile steel with a zinc plated finish. Made to DIN 6923, they combine a hexagon nut with an integral flange and a smooth underside. Available in M5, M6, M8, M10 and M12, each size features a standard metric coarse thread.
The built-in flange provides a wider bearing area to spread the clamping load across the mating surface. Its plain, non-serrated face is suitable for assemblies requiring a smooth bearing surface beneath the nut.
Key Features
- Class 8 high tensile steel: Suitable for engineering, assembly and maintenance applications.
- Non-serrated flange: Smooth underside without gripping teeth.
- Integral flange: Spreads the clamping load and can reduce the need for a separate flat washer where the joint design permits.
- Zinc plated finish: Provides additional corrosion protection compared with unplated steel.
- Five metric sizes: Choose from M5, M6, M8, M10 and M12.
- Hexagon body: For installation and removal using a standard spanner or socket.

Typical Applications
Suitable for securing brackets, machinery components, equipment housings and general metal assemblies using matching metric bolts, set screws, studs or threaded bar.
Selecting Your Flange Nuts
Select the required thread size and pack quantity from the available options. The stated size refers to the internal thread diameter, not the spanner size. Match both the diameter and thread pitch to the bolt or stud being used. These are plain flange nuts without a self-locking feature.
