Product Description
Metric steel closed end rivet nuts, also known as rivnuts or threaded inserts, manufactured from zinc plated steel for general corrosion resistance. These large head closed end rivet nuts are designed to provide a strong metric female thread in sheet metal, box section, panels and other thin materials where access is only available from one side.
The closed end body helps prevent the thread passing right through the insert, making these rivet nuts useful where a blind threaded fixing is required. The serrated body under the head helps improve grip in the parent material once installed.
Available in M5, M6, M8 and M10 metric coarse thread sizes, with pack sizes suitable for single repairs, workshop use and bulk stock.
