3/8" UNC zinc plated steel socket button head machine screws, manufactured for imperial UNC threaded fastening applications. These button head screws are made from steel with a zinc plated finish, giving general corrosion resistance for indoor, workshop and light duty engineering use.
The low rounded button head gives a neat, smooth finish, while the hex socket / Allen key drive provides good tool engagement during installation. These screws use a 3/8" UNC Unified National Coarse thread and are suitable for use with compatible tapped holes or UNC nuts.
For imperial socket button head machine screws, the suitable standard reference is ASME B18.3 for the socket screw dimensions, with ASME B1.1 covering the UNC thread form.
