3/8" UNC Grade 8 Yellow Zinc Hex Set Screws – Fully Threaded
3/8"-16 UNC Grade 8 high tensile steel hexagon head set screws with a yellow zinc plated finish. These fully threaded fasteners are suitable for use with matching UNC nuts or tapped holes in machinery, equipment and mechanical assemblies.
The hexagon head takes a 9/16" spanner or socket. Available in three listed lengths, these imperial set screws provide a compact fastening option where a fully threaded Grade 8 fastener is required.

Installation
Use matching 3/8"-16 UNC nuts or tapped holes. Select nuts and washers suitable for the required joint strength, and ensure adequate thread engagement. When fitting into a blind hole, check that the screw cannot bottom out before the joint is clamped.
Apply the tightening torque specified for the assembly, taking account of the plating, lubrication and mating materials.
