Solid Brass Round Head Rivets – DIN 660
These solid brass rivets feature a rounded button-style head and a solid, unthreaded shank. Manufactured to DIN 660, they provide a permanent mechanical fixing by forming the projecting tail into a second retaining head.
Available in 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm and 6mm nominal shank diameters, they suit restoration, model making, decorative metalwork and general riveting applications where a brass fixing is required.

Installation
Prepare aligned holes suitable for the rivet diameter and joint design. Insert the rivet, support the existing round head with an appropriate riveting tool or backing support, and form the projecting tail using suitable solid-riveting equipment.
Access to both sides of the joint is required. Choose a shank length that accommodates the combined material thickness plus sufficient projection to form the closing head. The required projection depends on the closing-head shape and installation method.
Ordering
Select the required shank diameter, length and pack quantity from the available options. Rivet length excludes the existing round head. Diameter sizes are expressed in millimetres and do not denote a screw thread.
