Product Description
M8 metric 8.8 grade zinc plated steel socket cap bolts, part threaded and manufactured to DIN 912 / ISO 4762. These socket cap bolts are made from 8.8 grade steel with a zinc plated finish, giving general corrosion resistance for engineering, machinery, automotive, fabrication and repair applications.
The cylindrical socket cap head uses a hex socket / Allen key drive, allowing secure installation and good tool engagement where a strong socket head fixing is required. These bolts have an unthreaded shank section, making them suitable for applications where a plain shank is required through the joint.
These M8 socket cap bolts have a standard metric coarse M8 x 1.25mm thread pitch, 5mm Allen key size, 16mm head diameter and 4.4mm head height. Available in lengths of 40mm, 60mm and 65mm, with a 28mm thread length.
