5/8" UNC A2 stainless steel hex head set screws, fully threaded for imperial coarse thread fastening applications. These fully threaded hex bolts are manufactured from A2 stainless steel, giving good corrosion resistance for general indoor, outdoor and damp applications.
The hexagon head allows installation with a standard spanner or socket, while the fully threaded shank is suitable where the thread needs to run close to the underside of the head. These 5/8" UNC set screws have an 11 TPI Unified National Coarse thread and are suitable for use with compatible UNC nuts, washers and tapped holes.
For imperial UNC hex set screws and fully threaded hex bolts, the suitable dimensional standard is ASME B18.2.1, with ASME B1.1 covering the UNC thread form. Available in 1" and 1 1/4" lengths, with pack sizes suitable for single repairs, workshop use and bulk stock.
