Product Description
BSF zinc plated steel hex lock / half nuts for British Standard Fine threaded fastening applications. These thin hex nuts are made from steel with a zinc plated finish, giving general corrosion resistance for workshop, restoration, engineering and automotive use.
Half nuts are thinner than standard full hex nuts and are commonly used as lock nuts, jam nuts or secondary nuts where a low-profile fastening is required. They are suitable for use with compatible BSF bolts, set screws, studs and threaded bar.
Available in BSF thread sizes 5/16", 3/8", 7/16" and 1/2". These nuts are useful for classic vehicles, older machinery, restoration work and imperial threaded assemblies where BSF fixings are required.
