Product Description
5/16" UNC self colour steel hex head fully threaded set screws for imperial coarse thread fastening applications. These hex set screws have a plain / self colour finish and are suitable for engineering, machinery, automotive, repair, maintenance and restoration work where a Unified National Coarse thread is required.
The hexagon head allows tightening with a spanner or socket, making these set screws a practical choice for general assembly and mechanical fastening. The fully threaded shank provides thread engagement along the full length of the fixing.
These 5/16" UNC hex head set screws have an 18 TPI Unified National Coarse thread and are available in lengths from 1/2" to 3". For imperial hex head screws, the suitable dimensional reference is ASME B18.2.1, with ASME B1.1 covering the UNC thread form.
