BSW Whitworth Grade A Plain Steel Hexagon Full Nuts
Grade A steel hexagon full nuts with British Standard Whitworth (BSW) threads and a plain, unplated finish. Designed for use with matching BSW bolts, set screws, studs and threaded bar.
Available in 1/2", 5/8", 3/4" and 7/8" nominal thread sizes, these imperial nuts are suitable for maintenance, restoration and general assembly work where Whitworth fasteners are specified.

Installation and Selection
Check the mating fastener's diameter and thread type before ordering. Start the nut by hand to avoid cross-threading, then tighten to the requirements of the assembly. BSW and UNC threads have different thread forms and should not be treated as interchangeable.
Plain steel has no plated corrosion protection. Apply suitable protection where exposure to moisture could cause rust.
