Product Description
1 1/2" UNC carbon steel circular split dies for Unified National Coarse external threads. These UK made dies are mainly used for cleaning, chasing and restoring existing threads on bolts, studs, threaded bar and other male threaded components.
The circular split die design allows the die to be held in a suitable die stock, making it useful for workshop, engineering, automotive, machinery, classic vehicle, restoration, repair and maintenance applications. Carbon steel dies are a practical choice for cleaning up damaged, rusty, dirty or worn UNC imperial coarse threads.
Available in UNC thread sizes from 7/16" to 3/4", including 7/16" x 14, 1/2" x 13, 9/16" x 12, 5/8" x 11 and 3/4" x 10. These dies have a 1 1/2" outside diameter. UNC thread dimensions are commonly referenced to ASME B1.1.
