5/8" UNC Grade 8 Yellow Zinc Plated Hex Head Set Screws
5/8"-11 UNC Grade 8 hexagon head set screws manufactured from high tensile steel with a yellow zinc plated finish. These fully threaded imperial fasteners are suitable for machinery assembly, maintenance and repair work requiring a matching UNC coarse thread.
The external hexagon head allows installation using a 15/16" spanner or socket. The fully threaded design provides threaded engagement along the screw length for use with compatible nuts or tapped components.

Selection and Installation
Use with matching 5/8"-11 UNC nuts or tapped holes. Select a length that provides adequate thread engagement without bottoming out in a blind hole. Where a nut is required, choose a compatible strength grade suitable for the assembly.
Tighten to the torque specified for the joint, taking the plated finish and lubrication condition into account.
