Product Description
1 1/2" BSF carbon steel circular split dies for British Standard Fine external threads. These dies are mainly used for cleaning, chasing and restoring existing BSF threads on bolts, studs, threaded bar and other male threaded components.
The circular split die design allows the die to be held in a suitable die stock, making it useful for classic vehicle, vintage machinery, engineering, restoration, workshop repair and general maintenance applications. Carbon steel dies are a practical choice for cleaning up damaged, dirty or worn BSF threads.
Available in BSF thread sizes from 7/16" to 3/4", these dies have a 1 1/2" outside diameter. BSF thread dimensions are commonly referenced to BS 84.
