3/8″-16 UNC Zinc Plated Socket Cap Screws – 12.9 Equivalent
3/8″-16 UNC high tensile alloy steel socket cap screws with a zinc plated finish. These fully threaded screws feature a cylindrical cap head and an internal hexagon socket accepting a 5/16″ Allen key.
Manufactured to the imperial ASTM A574 mechanical specification, with strength broadly comparable to metric property class 12.9. The 12.9 description is an approximate strength comparison; these screws have imperial UNC threads.

Selection and Installation
Check that the mating thread is 3/8″-16 UNC. These screws are not interchangeable with 3/8″-24 UNF, 3/8″ BSW or metric threads.
Measure the required length from beneath the head. Seat the correct Allen key fully before tightening and use a torque appropriate to the joint, coating and mating material.
