Key Features
- Grade 10.9 high tensile steel construction.
- Zinc plated finish provides corrosion protection.
- Rounded button head for a compact fastening profile.
- M4 × 0.7mm metric coarse thread.
- Internal hexagon drive accepts a 2.5mm Allen key.
Selection and Installation
Choose the length required for the joint, measured from beneath the head. Use with compatible M4 × 0.7mm tapped holes or matching nuts.
Button head screws have reduced load-bearing capacity because of their head geometry. Select a tightening torque appropriate to the screw design and joint, and seat the 2.5mm Allen key fully before tightening.
Pack Sizes
Available in quantities of 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 250, 500 or 1000 screws. Select the required length and pack size before ordering.
Standards
- ISO 7380-1 – hexagon socket button head screw dimensions.
- ISO 898-1 – mechanical property class reference, subject to the reduced loadability of the button head design.
- ISO 261 – metric screw thread diameter and pitch series.
