Product Description
BA high speed steel spiral flute taps for creating internal British Association threads, especially in blind hole tapping applications.
These BA HSS spiral flute taps are designed with helical flutes that help pull chips and swarf back out of the hole towards the shank, opposite to the tapping direction. This makes them especially useful for blind holes, where chip evacuation is important for cleaner thread cutting and improved tap life compared with standard straight flute hand taps.
