1/2" British Standard Pipe Fine carbon steel circular dies for cleaning and restoring existing external parallel pipe threads.
These UK made solid round dies are manufactured from carbon steel and are intended primarily for cleaning, chasing and restoring damaged or dirty BSPF threads. BSPF is also commonly known as BSPP or G thread and uses a parallel 55-degree Whitworth thread form.

Please note: BSP thread sizes refer to the nominal pipe bore and do not equal the actual measured outside thread diameter.
Carbon steel dies are primarily recommended for cleaning or restoring existing threads. For regular production of new threads, a suitable high speed steel die may be preferable.
