UNF high speed steel hexagon die nuts for cutting new external Unified National Fine threads.
These UK made HSS die nuts feature a hexagonal body that can be driven using a suitable spanner or socket. They are suitable for producing fine-pitch external threads on bolts, studs, shafts and other engineering components, particularly where access for a conventional round die and die stock is restricted.

For best results, begin the die nut square to the workpiece and use a suitable thread-cutting lubricant. Periodically reverse the tool slightly to help break and clear the swarf.
