3/4"-16 UNF high tensile Grade 5 self colour steel hexagon head bolts, available in 6" and 7" imperial lengths.
These imperial hex head bolts feature a fine 16 threads per inch UNF thread and a partially threaded construction with a substantial plain shank. The unthreaded section provides a solid bearing surface through the components being fastened, making these bolts suitable for heavy machinery, automotive, agricultural, engineering, fabrication, restoration and general maintenance applications.

UNF threads have a finer pitch than UNC threads of the same nominal diameter. The increased number of engaged threads can provide improved adjustment, clamping control and resistance to loosening in suitable applications.
These bolts are designed for use with compatible 3/4"-16 UNF nuts, tapped holes and washers. Where possible, the plain shank should pass through the components being clamped, with the threaded section positioned beyond the joint.
SAE Grade 5 is an imperial high-tensile fastener grade commonly compared with metric Property Class 8.8. The two grading systems are not identical, so the specified fastener grade should always be confirmed for safety-critical, structural or regulated applications.
Self colour steel has no protective zinc-plated finish and may develop surface corrosion when exposed to moisture. A suitable oil, coating, paint or other corrosion protection may be required for storage, outdoor use or damp environments.
Hexagon bolt length is measured from beneath the head to the end of the bolt.
