Product Description
M5 A4 marine-grade stainless steel flat penny repair washers with a 25mm external diameter and approximately 1.5mm thickness.
These non-standard large-diameter flat washers provide a substantially wider bearing surface than conventional M5 flat washers. They help spread clamping loads across a larger area and are suitable for securing thin sheet materials, reinforcing mounting points and covering enlarged, worn or damaged holes.

M5 penny repair washers are commonly used for marine fittings, automotive bodywork, panels, brackets, roofing, cladding, fabrication, machinery, trailers and general maintenance applications.
The enlarged 25mm outside diameter spreads the load from an M5 bolt, screw or nut over a much wider area than a standard washer. This can help reduce localised pressure and lower the risk of a fastener pulling through thin or weakened material.
The oversized washer can also bridge mounting holes that have become worn, enlarged or damaged, making it useful for repair and reinforcement work.
A4 stainless steel provides improved resistance to corrosion in demanding outdoor, coastal and marine environments compared with general-purpose A2 stainless steel. Suitability should still be checked where the washer may be exposed to aggressive chemicals, high temperatures or continuously submerged conditions.
Use with a compatible M5 fastener where the stated internal diameter and manufacturing tolerance provide suitable clearance. The washer should sit flat against the mating surface and be adequately supported across its full bearing area.
