Product Description
1/4″ UNC A2 Stainless Steel Hexagon Head Bolts With Shank
These 1/4″ UNC hexagon head bolts are manufactured from A2 stainless steel and feature a partially threaded plain shank. They have a standard 1/4″-20 Unified National Coarse thread and are available in imperial lengths from 1 1/4″ to 3″.
The unthreaded section provides a plain bearing surface through the joint. These imperial bolts are suitable for machinery, automotive work, restoration, fabrication, maintenance and general engineering applications where a part-threaded UNC fastener is required.

A2 stainless steel
A2 stainless steel provides good corrosion resistance in many indoor and general outdoor environments without requiring an additional protective coating. A4 stainless steel is normally preferable for coastal, marine, swimming-pool and other chloride-rich environments.
Stainless-steel threads can be susceptible to galling during assembly. Use clean mating threads, an appropriate anti-seize compound and controlled installation speeds, particularly when fitting stainless bolts and nuts together.
Compatibility and technical information
Use only matching 1/4″-20 UNC nuts. This thread is not interchangeable with 1/4″ UNF, or metric M6 fasteners.
