1/2"-13 UNC Grade 5 Self-Colour Hexagon Bolts
These 1/2" UNC Grade 5 hexagon head bolts are manufactured from high-tensile steel and supplied with a plain self-colour finish. Their partially threaded design leaves an unthreaded shank beneath the head, making them suitable for assemblies where the plain shank passes through the joined components.
The 1/2"-13 UNC coarse thread has 13 threads per inch. The coarser UNC thread form is widely used for automotive, machinery, agricultural, fabrication and general engineering applications.

The self-colour finish has no protective zinc coating and can develop surface oxidation when exposed to moisture. Apply a suitable coating, lubricant or corrosion inhibitor where environmental protection is required.
Use with a compatible 1/2"-13 UNC nut and appropriately sized washer. Fastener suitability, tightening torque and preload must be determined for the particular joint and operating conditions.
