3BA A2 Stainless Steel Countersunk Slotted Machine Screws
3BA countersunk slotted machine screws manufactured from corrosion-resistant A2 stainless steel. These traditional British Association threaded screws are ideal for fastening into a corresponding 3BA threaded hole or use with a compatible 3BA nut.
The countersunk head is designed to sit flush with the surface of a correctly formed countersink, while the traditional slotted drive can be installed using a standard flat-bladed screwdriver. They are particularly suitable for restoration work, model engineering, electrical equipment and legacy British machinery.

Countersunk screw length is measured over the complete fastener, including the head. Use only with a matching 3BA internal thread. BA threads have a 47.5-degree thread form and must not be substituted with a similar-looking metric, UNC, UNF, BSW or BSF thread.
A correctly fitting screwdriver should be used to reduce the risk of damaging the slot. Stainless steel threads can be susceptible to galling, so a suitable anti-seize compound may be beneficial where repeated assembly or higher tightening loads are expected.
