Product Description
No.4 A2 Stainless Steel Pan Pozi Self Tapping Screws
These No.4 pan-head self tapping screws are manufactured from corrosion-resistant A2 stainless steel and feature a Pozi cross recess for secure driver engagement. The rounded pan head provides a broad bearing surface and remains visible above the fitted material.
With a nominal thread diameter of approximately 2.9mm, these screws are suitable for light sheet metal, plastics, electrical equipment and other small components. Their tapping thread forms a mating thread as the screw is driven into a correctly sized pilot hole. These are self tapping screws and do not have a self-drilling point.

Typical Applications
Suitable for electrical equipment, instrument panels, light enclosures, small brackets, automotive trim, model making and thin sheet-metal or plastic components where a corrosion-resistant fastening is required.
Select the required length and pack quantity from the options above. Prepare a correctly sized pilot hole before installation. The required hole diameter depends on the receiving material, material thickness and required thread engagement.
Use the correct Pozi driver size and controlled installation torque. Excessive torque could damage the cross recess, strip the formed thread, deform the receiving material or shear the screw.
A2 stainless steel provides good corrosion resistance in many general indoor and outdoor environments. For marine, coastal, swimming-pool or similarly aggressive conditions, a suitable A4 stainless steel product may be preferable.
