1/4"-28 UNF Grade 5 Zinc-Plated Hexagon Set Screws
These 1/4"-28 UNF hexagon-head set screws are manufactured from high-tensile steel with a zinc-plated finish. They are intended to provide a fully threaded fastening solution for engineering, automotive, machinery, maintenance and general assembly applications.
The 28 threads-per-inch Unified National Fine thread provides finer adjustment and a greater number of engaged threads over a given length than the corresponding UNC coarse thread. In UK fastener terminology, a hexagon set screw is threaded along its full usable length beneath the head.

Installation Guidance
