Standards
BS 4174:1972 is the verified British Standard covering recessed flange head self tapping screws. The tapping thread form is covered by BS EN ISO 1478:2000.
DIN 968 is the comparable standard for cross-recessed pan head tapping screws with a collar, but DIN 968 compliance should only be stated if confirmed by the supplier.
