Product Description
Metric fine and extra fine thread thin half nuts to DIN 439, also known as jam nuts, lock nuts, half nuts or thin hexagon nuts.
These reduced-height nuts are commonly used where there is limited space for a full height hexagon nut, or as part of a locking arrangement when tightened against another nut. The fine and extra fine thread pitches make them suitable for matching metric fine bolts, threaded studs, shafts and specialist engineering applications.
