No.8 (4mm) A2 Stainless Steel Raised Countersunk Slotted Woodscrews – DIN 95
No.8 raised countersunk slotted woodscrews manufactured from A2 stainless steel to DIN 95. The head combines a countersunk underside with a gently domed top, providing a traditional decorative finish for visible timber fixings.
Suitable for furniture, joinery and attaching compatible hinges, handles and other fittings to wood. A2 stainless steel offers corrosion resistance, while the slotted drive allows installation with a correctly sized flat-bladed screwdriver. Measuring Your Screw
Nominal length (L) includes the countersunk portion of the head but excludes the raised dome. Measure from the point where the dome meets the countersunk head to the tip of the screw.
Installation Advice
Use a screwdriver blade that fits the slot closely. Drill a suitable pilot hole where needed, particularly in hardwood or near timber edges, to help prevent splitting and ease installation. The raised dome remains visible above the countersunk seating.
