Metric coarse A2 stainless steel nyloc nuts to DIN 985, also known as nylon insert lock nuts, nylon lock nuts or prevailing torque nuts.
These stainless steel lock nuts feature an integrated nylon insert which grips the mating thread when tightened, helping to resist loosening caused by vibration, movement or repeated load changes. Manufactured from A2 stainless steel, also known as 304 stainless steel, they offer good corrosion resistance for general engineering, automotive, machinery, maintenance and outdoor fastening applications.
