Metric coarse Grade 8 zinc plated steel nyloc nuts to DIN 985, also known as nylon insert lock nuts, nylon lock nuts or prevailing torque nuts.
These Type T nyloc nuts feature an integrated nylon insert which grips the mating thread when tightened, helping to resist loosening caused by vibration, movement or repeated load changes. The bright zinc plated steel finish provides general corrosion resistance for everyday engineering, automotive, machinery, fabrication and maintenance applications.
