5/16" UNC Grade 5 Self Colour Hex Head Part Threaded Bolts
These 5/16" UNC Grade 5 steel hex head bolts feature a partially threaded shank, with a plain section beneath the head. They are suitable for assemblies requiring an unthreaded section through the joined components.
The external hexagon head allows tightening with a 1/2" spanner or socket. Supplied in a self colour finish without added protective plating, these bolts may require additional corrosion protection where moisture is present.

Selecting Your Bolt
Select the required length and pack size from the available options. Use with matching 5/16"-18 UNC nuts or tapped holes. Allow for the thickness of the joined components and any washers, and ensure sufficient thread engagement.
Check that the plain shank length suits your assembly and allows the joint to tighten correctly. UNC, UNF and BSW are different thread forms, so confirm the mating thread before ordering.
