M24 x 2 Metric Fine Self Colour 10.9 Grade Steel Hexagon Head Bolts

These M24 x 2 metric fine hexagon head bolts are manufactured from high tensile grade 10.9 steel with a self colour finish. Their partially threaded design incorporates a plain shank beneath the head for assemblies requiring an unthreaded section through the joined components.

The 2 mm fine pitch thread requires a matching M24 x 2 nut or tapped hole. The hexagon head takes a 36 mm spanner or socket, and the bolts are available in 80 mm and 100 mm lengths.

Selecting Your Bolts

Select the required length and pack quantity from the available options. Check the thread pitch before ordering: M24 x 2 fine threads are not interchangeable with M24 x 3 coarse threads.

Allow for the combined thickness of the components and washers, together with the required thread engagement. Check that the plain shank and threaded section suit the joint.

The self colour finish has no plated corrosion protection. Apply suitable protection where required by the operating environment. Tighten in accordance with the equipment or joint specification.
