Product Description
M1.6 Metric A2 Stainless Steel Socket Cup Point Grub Screws
These M1.6 cup point grub screws are manufactured from A2 stainless steel and feature an internal hexagon socket for tightening with a 0.7 mm Allen key. Their headless design allows them to sit flush with or below the surface of a suitably threaded component.
The recessed cup point provides a circular contact edge that grips the mating surface when tightened. These miniature screws are useful for securing small collars, knobs and other precision components. A2 stainless steel provides corrosion resistance for many general engineering applications.

Selecting Your Grub Screws
Select the required length and pack quantity from the available options. Use with a matching M1.6 x 0.35 tapped hole and a correctly fitting 0.7 mm Allen key.
The cup point can mark the mating surface as it grips, so consider this when selecting a screw for finished shafts or components.
Keep the Allen key fully engaged and aligned during tightening. Use care with these miniature screws to avoid damaging the socket or mating thread.
