Product Description
M5 A2 Stainless Steel Socket Cup Point Grub Screws
These M5 socket grub screws are manufactured from A2 stainless steel and feature an internal hexagon drive with a cup point. Their headless design allows them to be installed flush with or below the surrounding surface.
The cup point concentrates pressure around its outer edge, helping the screw grip securely against a shaft or mating component. These grub screws are commonly used to retain gears, pulleys, shaft collars, handles and knobs.

A2 Stainless Steel
A2 stainless steel provides good corrosion resistance for indoor use and general outdoor applications. For marine, coastal, swimming-pool or chemically aggressive environments, an A4 stainless steel fastener may be more suitable.
When assembling stainless steel fasteners, a suitable anti-seize compound can help reduce the risk of thread galling.
