M5 mushroom head machine screws manufactured from A2 stainless steel, featuring a wide, shallow rounded head with a slotted drive. The broad head provides a larger bearing surface, making these screws useful for securing panels, covers and thin components.
These corrosion-resistant screws have an M5 metric coarse thread with a 0.8mm pitch. Available in lengths from 12mm to 50mm for general assembly, maintenance and repair work.

Fitting Information
Fit into a matching M5 x 0.8mm tapped hole or use with a compatible M5 nut. Check that the surrounding surface accommodates the 12.5mm head diameter, and choose a length that provides sufficient thread engagement without bottoming out in a blind hole.
Use a flat-bladed screwdriver that fits the slot correctly. Tighten steadily and avoid overtightening, particularly when fastening thin panels or softer materials. Where appropriate, use a suitable anti-seize compound to help reduce stainless steel thread galling, accounting for lubrication when determining tightening torque.
