5/16" BSF Grade R High Tensile Self Colour Hexagon Head Bolts
5/16" BSF hexagon head bolts manufactured from Grade R high tensile steel with a self colour finish. These partially threaded bolts have an unthreaded shank and a British Standard Fine thread with 22 threads per inch.
Suitable for restoration, maintenance and engineering assemblies requiring matching BSF fasteners. The hexagon head provides access for tightening with a suitable spanner or socket.

Fitting Advice
Use with a matching 5/16" BSF nut or tapped hole. Start the thread by hand and use a spanner or socket that fits the head securely. Follow the assembly's specified tightening requirements. Self colour steel has no plated corrosion protection, so consider suitable protection where exposed to moisture.
