Product Description
Metric Fine Zinc Plated 8.8 High Tensile Threaded Bar – 1 Metre Length
Metric fine and extra fine pitch threaded bar manufactured from property class 8.8 high tensile steel with a bright zinc plated finish. Supplied in individual 1 metre lengths, this fully threaded bar is suitable for making studs, securing assemblies and carrying out repairs requiring a matching metric fine thread.
Also known as threaded rod, studding or allthread, the bar can be cut to the required length. The continuous thread allows nuts to be positioned along the bar for clamping and adjustment.

- Clamping fixtures and mechanical assemblies.
- Machinery maintenance and repairs.
- Applications requiring metric fine or extra fine threads.
Fitting Information
Match both the diameter and thread pitch to the mating nut or tapped hole. Standard metric coarse nuts will not fit these fine pitch threads. Where strength is important, select compatible nuts of a suitable property class for the assembly.
After cutting, deburr the end and check that a matching nut runs freely onto the thread. Cutting exposes the steel beneath the zinc coating, so protect the cut end where corrosion resistance is required.
