Sizing & Fitting
Screw length is measured from underneath the head to the tip. M5 identifies the nominal thread diameter. For penny washers, 20mm and 30mm refer to the outside diameter.
Use a correctly fitting Allen key. Flat and penny washers spread the clamping load, with penny washers providing a larger bearing surface. Nyloc nuts use a nylon insert to resist loosening.
